so i didn't really put much forethought into the story (or for that matter, literally any forethought until heather first appears)- i was just kind of winging it.Įven then i can't say it was exactly well-constructed. due to the nature of the online league and trying to justify mashing all of these existing characters together. When i first started making the game, i thought i'd get bored and drop it quickly. Well, and also i haven't edited it for years by merit of how long it's been since an episode came out, i guess. it's very dated. it's not that i haven't edited the dialogue in years, but that the foundation of the dialogue is years old. The dev team and i hope you enjoy your ride I also think the exp share should give the pokemon in the front of the party considerably more exp than the rest of the team to encourage you to use all of your pokemon,i know this was kinda what they did in the beginning but I think the difference should be a little bigger.Thank you for riding aboard the Hype Train™️ with us today The problem with the newer games isn’t the existence of the exp share but rather the fact that the trainers you battle aren’t adjusted to match your strength in order to compensate for the additional levels you gain because of the exp share. To me,the best way to add difficulty to the games is to simply give the NPCs stronger pokemon and moves. Despite all this,i agree that since x and y the games have been too easy but I don’t agree with people blaming the exp share for this. It replaces grinding and makes playing through the games more relaxing. I think the exp share is a good idea on paper. When i play the games from gens 1 to 5 i somehow always end up with having an underleveld team by the time i get to the e4. Im not a pokemon veteran and I’ve only been playing the games for around 3 years so my point of view might seem weird to someone who grew up with the franchise. It makes things less tedious and removes unnecessary and annoying grinding from the formula,with that being said,I think the execution is pretty bad. Unpopular opinion: I actually think the exp share is a great addition to the game.
